17 years ago I received a savings bond for my daughter of 100.00 dollars.?

Unfortunately I cannot find this savings bond. All I recall is that the savings bond was purchased at a Citbank in Brooklyn Heights NY.

Would I be able to redeem a bond that has been lost or destroyed?
